Are Chickpeas a Healthy Snack?
If you’re looking to lose weight and eat healthier, you may be on the prowl for healthy snack options.
Chickpeas are an incredibly healthy nutrient-dense snack food. Chickpeas are high in fiber, protein, and other nutrients.
They’re rich in iron, phosphorous, magnesium, and copper (Source: Healthline).
So basically, this crunchy snack will provide loads of nutrients to keep you full and keep you healthy while losing weight.
Most traditional salty snacks such as pretzels don’t provide any nutrients and are just empty calories. This means they don’t have any vitamins or essential minerals for our bodies.
So if you’re looking to grab a salty snack, chickpeas are a clear winner.
